After a battle long, long ago between some evil druids and the Tuatha de Dannaan (faeries), they had decided that they were going to leave this world. Thus the faeries created their own world, but every so often they will come back to our world, checking to see if the times have changed. The evil druids after losing the battle were banished into a darkness. However it was told they would  one day return, seeking revenge. And that day came...
After the faeries left, their queen had forbidden any faerie to contact any human. That rule didn't stop some though espiecally a faerie called Eve. Or thats what half of her name was, faeries never told their full first or entire name to anyone not even to each other. Eve had never listened to queen in all millenias she had lived. It was not her 'job' to listen to her queen, it was her job to obey some hidden rule she followed from someone else. Eve had loved humans and often visited them. But it was always a particular family she had visited. She had watched over them through-out the time she was made. She had tried to shelter the family as much as she could without intervening too much.  One day one of the sons of the family, named Derek McNamara, had unleashed the evil druids unknowingly. Once again there was a good vs. evil battle. This time Derek had to fight them. Though Eve stood on the sidelines without anyone's knowledge uncomfortablely watching him in pain. Eve was recently stabbed by one of the druids, with iron. It drained her of her magic(k) and almost destoried her. After Derek had won the queen had appeared and showed Derek their world.
Nept was the queen but Eve had left to observe the world, another faerie was with her. "we would have liked you to meet one of us called Eve but she has gone to your world to visit" the queen answered. "Why is she so special?" he asked. "She was the one who kept us from killing you. It wasn't personal, we just couldn't risk you completely letting out the druids. After she was attacked we were holding council to decide your fate when she told us she saw the outcomes." "Outcomes?" "She saw every possible way the battle could end. And the good ones made us wait. That is why you lived" she said. Then the queen and Nept went to visit his father and step-mother. "We need you to write down rules for others to follow about us" the queen said. "MY QUEEN" shouted a faeire who had been with Eve. "What is it?" "She's dying." "Who?" "Eve!" "How? We're immortal!" "She says its her time." "Bring her!" Then the faerie brought Eve in his arms for she couldnt stand up.
"What happened?" asked the queen. "It's my time, my queen. I was never a faerie like you. I was simply made for the battle. Before that i was a human learning of the battle before anyone knew" Eve whispered. Then after the two talking Eve tugged on the faerie's shirt and told him to take to her Derek, she had to tell him something before she died. "Why does she have to die?" asked Derek's father. "Because the gods want her to return to them" Nept whispered. "What do you mean?" "She was never one of us because she was a human, then faerie, but all along she was goddess."

"Derek! You returned!" his mate, Corrina had shouted in glee. "I went to the fae! Can you believe it!" "Are you serious?" "Yes, and i learned i lived because a faerie named Eve protected me." "Eve? That sounds familar. Like a nickname for a goddess o heard about" Just then Eve had appeared. "Who are you?" asked Corrina and Derek. "I am the faerie called Eve, and before i go Derek, i had to tell you. I have watched over your family since i was faerie, i had lived to make sure your family was well and to watch the battle so the gods would know but most importantly that set me apart from the others was i was once human" she said weakly. "Really?" "Yes. And Derek, do you know your anestors the ones that created your line back in the highlands?" she asked. "Not by name. Thats over millenias ago" he said. "I figured so. Derek, it was my past life, when i was a human that created it." "Thats why you protected this family?" "Yes. And thats why i felt your pain in the battle" she whispered."But my time is up and i must leave." "Leave where?" asked Derek.
"Derek, she's dying" whispered Corrina. "Good luck on the child that you're carrying Corrina. I had a pleasure watching the family. But i must join the gods and goddesses once again. Blessed be" she said then collasped. Just then anyone magical could feel a sharp pain in their hearts like part of them died. And a part did. Anyone non-magical felt a twinge. "Where is she now?" asked Corrina. "She's with her family" said Nept who appeared. "What do you mean?" asked Corrina. "She was a goddess but grew bored with the life up above. So she came to earth as human. Once she died she couldnt return back up there because the others were upset about her leaving because they werent good enough for her, and when she returned it meant well she changed her mind or HAD to come back. Around the time her arguing with the others the druids attacked the faeries. After that battle was over they decided that if she wanted to be in the world so badly she would be a faerie and she was told to stay there as their eyes and ears til the next battle was over and she could return finally to home" said Nept. "Why all that?" asked Derek. "Because they were in pain. You dont know who she is do you?" asked Nept. "No, what is her name?" "Its-"
Eve appeared before the others and hugged them all. "I missed you all. NEVER make me have to wait that long again" she said. "We thought you didnt want to return once you seemed happy after the first century" whispered the Airmind. "I would always miss you. I always did, but i thought you didn't want me anymore so i made it seem like i had good time" Eve whispered. "it is good to have you back Angus Og. "Its good to be back" she said. "Come its been long time, and we must catch up" said Amethon. "Give her a few minutes. We have forever to learn of it" said Arianrhod
